An environmental education and community garden project in Santa Angelo, Southern Brazil. Brazilian children plan an environmental project of cleaning up their community and creating a school and community garden. They celebrate life and their success with a grand carnival dance.

The mothers, sisters, aunts and grandmothers of the children engaged
in a Child's Garden of Peace have begun a cooperative to make purses
from reused aluminum pull tabs from soda pop and beer cans. The women
